La Pelosa: ticket, daily cap and parking in 2026
€3.50 per person, 1,500 places a day. Why only one website sells valid tickets, how the split booking window works, and why you need a mat.

La Pelosa 2026 in four lines
- €3.50 per person, free under 12. Season 15 May to 15 October.
- 1,500 places a day: 500 bookable at any time, 1,000 released two days ahead.
- Only spiaggialapelosa.it sells valid tickets — the municipality warns about other sites.
- A mat, or a beach towel with a backing, is compulsory.
Only one site sells real tickets
This is the most important sentence here: the municipality of Stintino explicitly warns about unofficial sites and states that spiaggialapelosa.it is the only authorised sales channel. The same booking also runs through the “La Pelosa” app.
If a search offers you a reseller with a mark-up, you are on the wrong page. There is no reason to pay more than €3.50 for this ticket.
The booking window is split in two
Of the 1,500 daily places, 500 can be booked at any time. The other 1,000 are only released two days before the date.
In practice: a “sold out” weeks in advance is rarely the final word. Check again two days ahead, when the larger part of the allocation enters the system.
The mat is not a suggestion
La Pelosa’s very fine sand has been disappearing for years, carried off on towels and shoe soles. That is why a mat, or a towel with a backing, is required — not a matter of style, but a protection measure.
Without one you will be told at the entrance. Pack it before you set off.
Parking: €2.50 an hour, full by 9 a.m.
The paid bays cost €2.50 per hour and are enforced from 08:00 to 20:00. In July and August everything is taken by around 09:00.
So budget for two payments and an early alarm: the ticket secures the beach, not the parking space.
Frequently asked questions
How much does La Pelosa cost in 2026?
€3.50 per person. Children under twelve go free. Parking is separate, at €2.50 per hour.
Where do you officially book La Pelosa?
On spiaggialapelosa.it or through the “La Pelosa” app. The municipality of Stintino states this is the only authorised sales channel.
What if everything is sold out?
Check again two days before your date: of the 1,500 daily places, 1,000 are only released then.
Why do you need a mat?
The very fine sand sticks to towels and soles and is lost to the beach for good. That is why a mat or a towel with a backing is required.
